Parents/Guardians of Teenaged Girls- I'm Here for You!
If you want to elevate your daughter’s success, self-confidence and communication skills, while unlocking her fierce, innate potential, then you've come to the right place.
For over 15 years, I have supported and empowered teenaged girls to not only survive the awkward teen years, but THRIVE in them.
This Washington, D.C. based teen life-coaching program is the only one of its kind in the area and is for parents/guardians ready to invest in their daughter's social and emotional development further supporting their school, social and athletic success.
(online world-wide availability as well)
Kids today are busier and more pressured than ever. Growing up in a technological world has made it harder for them to develop human connections, creativity and self-awareness.
Let me guess, your daughter:
is overwhelmed and stressed out with competing priorities from school, peers, and extra-curricular activities
struggles with her self-esteem, despite you knowing she's actually badass
has a hard time staying focused and spends HOURS on her phone and social media
desperately wants to be understood but is unsure of how to communicate - so she doesn't (or sends a text about it)
places unreal expectations on herself
agonizes over her future and uncertainty living in a state of constant stress
wants a healthy body but is unsure of how to start OR wants to maintain her fitness in the off-season
needs help transitioning from high school to college
I KNOW! I've been surrounded by teen girls for years and these are some of the most common obstacles I see teenagers facing.
It can be frustrating and disheartening because in reality, they are all really amazing, driven girls.
My sweet spot over the past 10 years has always been in the role of
"not a parent" and "not a peer"
but more of the "fun, fierce
coach/mentor that just says
"Yes!" to life, offers great
insight/advice, while making
others believe they are
(because they are!).
I know right now that you're likely struggling with balancing your career, running your kids to/from after-school clubs or sports, helping with homework, making sure the fridge is stocked and food is on the table, packing lunches, ensuring the kids are bathed and in bed at a reasonable hour... and that's just the tip of the iceberg, huh? Being crazy busy is the norm. I honestly don't know how you do it.
The good news is that you are not alone in wanting your daughter to be fierce, fulfilled and wildly successful.
Together we can keep your daughter on track for success, and help her side-step any peer pressure and negative societal messages about girls and women along the way. Sometimes, it just takes an outsiders's perspective for things to make sense. I can help guide her habits ensuring they are productive, healthy and meaningful. I can keep her on track for success, acting as her coach, mentor, confidant, big sister, ally and cheerleader, offering objective advice and fresh ideas of how to progress forward in the fiercest way possible.
Wow, you're even more awesome than I thought (and I already thought you were cool!)! for the simple fact that you are reading about a personal development coach. Let's be real, it is HARD being a teenager these days. I don't know how you guys do it! You are bombarded by all kinds of images in the media that probably make you feel insecure and insignificant as it all passes for "real life." You can't escape it!
Your busy-ness also stresses me out! Man, you guys do everything these days. No free time to just be lay around and be bored. Don't you know boredom is where the greatest ideas are sparked from creativity? You also have so much homework on top of all your activities. When do you sleep?!
Also, I don't know how you guys deal with all the passive-aggressive behavior on social media. Shooooooo! Adults have it easy.
The good news is that there are people out there that actually are rooting for you (I'm one of them) and believes you have a role to play in this world. (We need you!!!)
Let me join your team. Together we can make big things happen in your life. No matter if your life is good and you just want to stay on track or if you think life is kinda sucking now and just wanna make it a bit better, I'm here. I promise to always to keep it real, be brutally honest and never pass an ounce of judgement on you.
1) 30 minute pre-session meeting
We'll discuss and set some goals for our time together- areas to focus on while learning a bit about each other
4) 1 hour in-person or FaceTime sessions
Each week, we'll check-in at the same day and time to chat about the week - what was good, what was not-so-good and how to best move forward and continue making progress. I will also use this time for any trainings or activities that may be useful to your daughter.
Unlimited email/text access - because things come up!
