Great Question!

Life coaching is about assisting in closing the gap between where you are and where you want to be. It can be about any topic- health, business, time management, career, etc. - whatever you want to advance in your life.

Life coaches are NOT therapists.

Life coaches have clients - not patients. There is nothing WRONG with you so there is nothing to fix, only things to be gained!

Life coaches focus on future endeavors not healing past emotional wounds.

Coaching is used by people who already are succeeding, but who want to succeed even more and at a faster rate.

Life coaches help you gain clarity, set goals and hold you accountable.

Life coaches offer an outsider's perspective to see what it is lacking and to identify areas for growth.

Life coaches can help you make decisions or take actions overcoming your fear and self-doubt.

Life coaches hold you accountable and won't' let you procrastinate. So long "one day it'll get done" phrases.

Life coaches bring objective feedback and fresh ideas to the table when you feel stuck.

Life coaches are not "above" you in the (doctor/patient sense) they are your equal, part of your team.

Life coaches help you stay goal-oriented, solution-focused and results and action-oriented.

The most successful people in business have coaches (sometimes multiple).

Think of it like a personal trainer...but for your life.

But wait, why are life coaches so expensive?

Simple, you won't take the action without having really invested something. You have to have some skin in the game. For example, think of online courses that have different price points: $0, $50, $1,000, which one are you going to be compelled to complete? If you pay top dollar, you want your money's worth! It's gotta be slightly uncomfortable so you feel the pressure to take action, otherwise, nothing will change.

Awareness is realizing that our life could always be better. Growth is doing what it takes to make it better.
